I wonder to which of my chars/armorsets these would fit at all.

Maybe my Female 15k Luxon Ritualist, which has a nasty "gauntlet" instead of gloves.

But I think the novelty wears off quickly. Maybe there are other parts out there, too. Then your char would look like frozen ice... or like a Frozen Elemental...^^

Thats what I was thinking too...

+5 energy for derv gauntlet

+30 to elemental for ranger rather than 15elemental+15 specific element

Imbalanced? Correct me if I'm wrong.

The Primary Ranger's base armor provides moderate protection. It has 70 base armor and +30 Armor versus Elemental attacks, +5 Energy and +1 Energy Recovery. A starting Primary Ranger can expect to have 25 Maximum Energy and 3 Energy Recovery.

These gloves take the effect of whatever your professions gloves normally have.

This is the best way I found to solo them as a Rt...

Rt/Me
16 Restoration Magic
12 Domination Magic

Essential skills:
[skill]Vengeful Was Khanhei[/skill][skill]Backfire[/skill][skill]Wielder's Boon[/skill][skill]Resilient Weapon[/skill]

Optional skills:
[skill]Wastrel's Demise[/skill][skill]Power Spike[/skill][skill]Resilient Was Xiko[/skill][skill]Power Return[/skill]

Although you can survive aggroing 4 of them, it's easiest and quickest to manage the aggro so that you can focus all your effort into killing 1 at time. Here's basically what you do: Cast backfire on it so it'll get itself nearly dead after it spams about 4 spells or so. Meanwhile cast Resilient Weapon to counter the degen. Also, it helps to run into adjacent range at this point so long as you don't aggro a second vaettir. Then use VwK to finish it off.

If everything goes perfectly the vaettir will die after hitting you only once and you'll still have about 8 seconds left before backfire recharges (so basically they take just a dozen seconds to go down ). Sometimes they'll decide to use ether feast after the backfire has worn off. If you don't manage to interrupt that ether feast they'll take a bit longer to kill, but they'll still be history pretty quick. If you aggro more than one, it's not the end of the world, but it'll take longer because backfire does the most damage when they're full of energy to spam their spells on you.

I always used henchies to get to the vaettirs (which of course meant I had to flag them away so they didn't get my drops). I never bothered to see if I could slip past the patrols without henchies since most of the time I was obviously rezoning using the portal to Bjora Marches.

Yeah. The problem is that the Warriors are much bigger than the other classes, these gauntlets just make their arms look tiny. It also doesn't help that most of their armour has long sleeves, so this just makes them look cut off.

Oh well, it matches my whole wintery theme, but I plan on getting another pair for my Female Elementalist. In my opinion, it suits them best. Can't wait to see the glowing ones on Monks though.

In the instance Drakkar Lake, there is a circular area at the bottom right. When you get near the entrance you see a rabbit and as you get close it moves into the cave and down a path.

As you enter it looks empty with just rabbits running around.

As you get inside and aprouch the old tree the entire area changes and dozens of spirits apear around you, including the ones which drop the rare material needed for those gloves.

Now your talking about 10+ of each those creatures.

Chances are if you kill all of them, that atleast one or two of the rare materials will drop. Now just keep re-doing that same area over and over again and it wont take long to get 35 of them.

Its best to take an MM and make sure he has minions first, otherwise you WILL die. But that makes no difference, because its actually easier to kill them after you ress and re-enter and pick them off from the downwards ramp.

Now shhh!!!

now now thats totally wrong why go with a party of 8 and decrease your chances of farming them and then make the run even longer? (i love pvers)
easiest way is doin this:
1) go to the area that is east of sifhalla
2) run to the place where you would normally map to bjora marches
3) in that little town before you map are 15 of the things that drop the stones
4) you can aggro them seperately and its easy
5) be a toucher you can take on 4-5 at most
6) runs are about 5-6mins long
7) takes about 2-3hrs to farm 35 unless youre madd lucky
8) faster than the above poster
9) i made 100k from this
10) have fun i love pvers!

11) i have no clue why i gave away my secret to 100k in 2-3hrs !!!

i farmed over 300 of the was selling 35 for 30k i farmed them with my war

i don't know how to put skill that u can see in pic but this is the built

KWV,
VENGEFUL WEAPON,
DOLYAK SIGNET,
ENDURE PAIN,
SIGNET OF STAMINA,
SPRINT,
ENRAGING CHARGE,
HEALING SIGNET.

u need the sprint to run there and zone after what u have to do is only rezone after u clean. u can take a lot of them together just watch out to keep your ene low so they can't heal. KWV will do the rest.
